Doraemon[]
There are many references to Doraemon, an internationally well-known anime about Doraemon, a blue robot cat from the future, and his adventures with Nobita.
- In the manga, there is a chapter titled, "Doraemon Encyclopedia". Kururu has his own version in the manga that showcases many of his inventions, such as the Fourth Dimensional Gacha.
- Kikaka, a robotic Keronian, and the episode he was featured in is based off of Doraemon. In Zeroro: Here Comes Kikaka de arimasu, each character in the Chibi Keroro Platoon (except for Joriri) plays a character from the Doraemon series. Chibi Dororo/Zeroro plays Nobita Nobi, Kikaka is Doraemon, Chibi Pururu is Shizuka Minamoto, and Chibi Keroro & Chibi Giroro are Suneo Honekawa & Gian. The episode as well references many gadgets, such as the "take-copter", a bamboo machine that allows its user to fly. It's used to play a running gag in Doraemon, where Shizuka (Pururu) never gets privacy to bathe because someone, usually Nobita, always accidentally appears. She would throw a bar of soap at Nobita, who in this case was Keroro, and force him to leave.
- General Bratterling is based off of Gian, and Entouragian is based off of Suneo.
- Nobibi's name and character is taken from Nobita Nobi. His eyes are similar to Nobita's glasses, and his hat is a reference to the "take-copter".
- Keroro: Visitor from the Future, de arimasu is a reference to Doraemon as well. The story is about a robot from the future named Double O (Doraemon) that has come to change Keroro's (Nobita's) unfortunate future. Another running gag in the show referenced in the episode is when Nobita runs while crying over to Doraemon, begging for an invention that will help him.

- The title of Duel! The Third Molar, de arimasu is a reference to the sixth episode of Neon Genesis Evangelion, "Decisive Battle in Tokyo-3".
- In the manga and anime version of the Garuru Platoon Arc, Giroro mimics a Evangelion Unit-02.
- In both the manga and anime, Keroro has been seen dressing up as a Seele Monolith.
- In Natsumi: Come on the path of love Kururu, de arimasu, when Mutsumi Hojo invades the Hinata house, an "emergency" alarm goes off (a copy of the one from Evangelion), followed by an A.T. Field blocking the front door. Saburo breaks in and descends down a long tube (referencing Kaworu with Eva-02 in "The Final Messenger").
