Dez is Akina Hinata's pet Hokkaido ken dog. When he first appeared, he chased Keroro in the woods in the mountains. When they became lost the two treaded back, trying to find a away home, when Dez heard the sound of Akina's bell, he had Keroro jump onto his back and the two were then found by the search party of Giroro, Tamama, the Hinata family.
