Hello DesuMasuta. I know it has been a long time and I know you are no longer active on this wikia, but I was wondering if you could give the nureaucrat title to me? I would like to make active users on this wiki into admins and to do that I need to be a beureucrat.
Thank you so much for being a part of the Keroro Wikia, I believe it was thanks to you that it flourished. Thank you and I hope you have a nice year
Well this is a very special school program I'm in. I am special needs(autistic), and the program I'm in is known as the "Life Program". It's basically where young special needs students (Usually 18-21) learn daily living skills (Like cooking, doing laundry, cleaning, shopping, and most importantly being out in the community. and just in general learning to take care of themselves. At this school program we aren't doing the usual school stuff like reading, math, social studies, or science. We have a fitness program, voc skills, and social work, which is about it for any "classes" Then we have lunch and leave for our volunteer jobs. every Friday we have leisure time which means we go someplace special to eat, shop, or do general activities. All the students in the program have different mental impearments (Some even being in wheelchairs). I am 19, and I had to stay in highschool for a fifth year, not because I was doing poorly, but because of volunteer jobs that I did which cut me off from classes I needed to take in order to graduate. (particulary driver's ed, but I'm not even going to drive.) I will have service under the district until I'm 22 years old. I love this school though, and I'm having lots of fun. No tests, finals, or homework to worry about, just learning the ways of living a life.
For someone who doesn't go to that kind of school, it sure does sound like a nice change of pace from the regular tests and schoolwork I'm used to. Something that does bother me somewhat about the mainsteam education system is that there isn't a whole lot of emphasis on daily living skills. You can go through the entirety of high school and maybe even college/university and not know many basic life skills (or be very poor at them), for example stuff like cooking, doing laundry or just taking care of yourself and your living area. I think maybe a requirement like doing a "part-time" in a similar program as the one you're currently in might be beneficial to many young adults. Something like this probably exists out there, but is not formally implemented for mainsteam students (at least I have never heard of it). Maybe they expect us to learn it ourselves? That might explain why.
Here’s one from when I was in preschool. We had a fish tank in the classroom, and there was a big goldfish in it. One day my teacher put a few minnows I think there, and well, they’re these tiny fish, with one goldfish about 10 Times their size, so they got eaten. Which, made my classmates and I freak out. A pretty silly thing to panic over huh?
A friend of ours told us a good story about when she was wat work one time. She bought a popscicle, and she stuck it in her purse for later. She got to the school she works and forgot about the popscicle, so it melted. She put her purse on her desk, and went off somewhere, and when she came back there were ants crawling all over the desk. The cause of that, was the melted popscicle which got all over everything in her purse.
Hey! I haven't watch Keroro in a while, but from what I remember there's a pretty big arc centered around the Garuru platoon around episode 100 or so. Can't recall the exact episodes off the top of my head though... sorry.
Here's some episodes I just searched up:
There's probably more, but you can find the rest with enough Googling.
Hello, this is a fan of Keroro. I'm obssessed with the background music in Keroro movies, Since you're the admin, I'm just wondering if you may have any clue about where I can find the soundtracks from the movies, thank you.
Hey, I think I replied to your comment on another page. The soundtrack for Keroro should be easily available on Youtube, unless someone removed them. If you're having trouble finding a specific track, send me another message and I'll try to help.
Yea, I did buy some models and DVDs, but that was ~5 years ago. Back then, I picked up model kits for three of the platoon members (same thing as Gundam), a model kit for "Captain Keroro", as well as a DVD for the first four episodes of season 5. It was great, I was very happy with my purchases.
Fast forward to ~3 years ago, this is the time where I mentioned a lot of Keroro stuff being on clearence or not on the shelves at all. I managed to finish off my Keroro Platoon Gundam collection as well as pick up DVDs for movies 4 and 5. I think I also bought a bunch of Keroro gacha figures.
This past summer I actually went to Osaka, and let me tell you now there was not a single trace of Keroro anywhere. I probably would have had better luck in Tokyo if I wanted to buy some more Keroro goods. However after my stay there, I went to Taiwan again (where I went for the last two trips mentioned above), and luckily I found some awesome Keroro merchandise there. There was a new Gundam store that opened up in the city, so I went there for a visit and salvaged a Musha Keroro Platoon set. I guess I was lucky I bought it that day, because the next few times I went back to that store, they took all the Keroro models off the shelves (either that or someone bought all of them, which I highly doubt).
Afterwards, I was also able to pick up an Afro Gunso model at a flea market along with some old Keroro toys from McDonald's for pretty cheap. And that's basically the end of my Keroro merchandise story. Thanks for asking. If you wanna know more feel free to shoot me another question. =)
You mean Keroro related or no? For Keroro stuff that was pretty much all I found. Otherwise, I just went around shopping or visiting relatives... Nothing super special. I did also go to Taipei 101, but only one time this year since my trip was shorter than previous years.
I checked out the blog. It's pretty interesting just by looking at the pictures, but if I could understand what was written it would probably be even better lol! It's too bad the Keroro "era" is pretty much over. I think Keroro could regain some popularity by releasing a new anime that preferably isn't a short Flash animation series like they did in 2014.
So I just Googled Mitsuwa, and it's a Japanese marketplace? I never heard of it where I live. Maybe I'll try to visit one one day x) Honestly I wish there were more Japanese-oriented shopping malls where I live since it's kinda difficult finding some authentic Japanese merchandise to buy in-person. It's usually just one store in a general mall or something.
If you want to understand what's written, google translate would come in handy. You can copy and paste the text in the first box and it will translate it into English. I think Keroro can regain it's popularity with a new anime series as well, and that's why I wrote up these petitions. Do you know anybody on Deviantart, that would be willing to sign?
Mitsuwa is pretty great. They have all things imaginable. They even have those little candy kits I like watching videos about on YouTube. unfortunately a lot of stuff is high-priced, but not all of it.
PS: Two of my favorite Japanese foods are Ramune(soda) and Takoyaki(octopus dumplings).
So I have been looking for a Musha Keroro Platoon set or even one of the secret base, but they're very expensive, and it seems like eBay and Amazon are the only ones that can take American money. Another store known as Global Rakuten had it for like $23 to like $18 (The price kept changing), but shipping nearly $90 which I can't even believe. Also It's sold out on a lot of sites. I just need an idea, because I have shown interest in getting one.
But do you think a website in another country would take American money and then translate it to the kind of money used in that country?
I think it depends on what kind of payment options the website accepts. If they accept PayPal I'm pretty sure you can pay the amount in USD without any problems, either using a credit card or PayPal balance.
I'm not sure where you can find the set at a good price... as a reference I bought the set at around $33.35 USD tax included. Even so, I'd stick to sites like eBay or Amazon since they're more reputable.
