Momoka, The Grand Cherry Blossom Viewing Love-Love Strategy! de arimasu (桃華 お花見でラブラブ大乱戦！であります Momoka Ohanami de Raburabu Dairansen! de Arimasu) is Episode 105, Part B of the anime series Keroro Gunso.
Synopsis[]
Momoka starts yet another strategy to winning Fuyuki's heart; that being using a legendary cherry-blossom tree so that they can become soulmates.
Full Plot of Episode[]
The episode starts with the Narrator talking about the spring season and its connections to young love, as we get a view of some cherry blossom trees in full bloom.
Momoka is seen walking to school with Fuyuki, and she shyly asks him to go to an o-hanami with her. Fuyuki questions this as he says that the cherry blossoms will wilt soon, in-which Momoka responds by saying that the cherry blossoms in her garden are close to blooming. Fuyuki is impressed and says that he would like to see the trees. Momoka happily takes out her cell-phone and says that she will set it up with glee; until Fuyuki says that he will invite his sister and Keroro and his friends, much to Momoka's despair, as she wanted to be alone with Fuyuki. Her personality switches for a second, until Fuyuki asks whats up, in-which Momoka quickly changes back and says its nothing. Momoka then tells Paul to go ahead with "that plan", where Paul loyally agrees and begins at haste. The Narrator then says about how a maiden will do anything for love.
We cut to a snowy place; "somewhere in Asia", where we see Yoshiokadaira; one of Momoka's loyal soldiers climb up a cold mountain that has a bright flower-field at the top. He takes off his mask and looks at a giant, glowing cherry blossom tree. We then cut to Paul at the Nishizawa Manor, who recieves a message from Yoshiokadaira, saying that he has found "the target". Paul then tells him to dispatch a team to his location.
Paul then walks up to Momoka, and tells her about how "it" has been discovered. Momoka smiles in delight after hearing this news, and we see that she (Momoka) was staring at her.. quite the creepy collection of Fuyuki photos. She praises Paul for his hard work and says about how finally "it"; the legendary cherry blossom tree, will be hers for the taking. She then says about how if two people are standing underneath the tree, they will be bound together in love, which explains as to why she wanted to throw a hanami party. Momoka personality switches, clenches her fist and yells about how her and Fuyuki will become lovey-dovey, like she's always wanted. She then switches back, and smiles. We then see the Nishizawa Group members retrieve the tree, and have it sent to the manor.
The day of the hanami party comes around. We see Fuyuki and Natsumi staring in amazement at the grand venue in-which the party will be held. Paul asks Fuyuki where Keroro and the others are, to which Fuyuki and Natsumi say that they had something else to do, Momoka personality switches and is very happy about this news, as she believes that they would've been in the way.. until Keroro starts waving at Fuyuki and its revealed that Keroro and the others (expect for Dororo) did in-fact come to the party, which confuses Fuyuki for a little.
Momoka is feeling miserable for a while as Tamama asks what is wrong. Natsumi asks about why they are here, to which Keroro responds by saying that they came to save a spot, as he says that the hanami is a "precious ritual" on Pekopon. Giroro gets mad at Keroro due to them losing time [1], to which Keroro says it's best to not rush and take it easy. Keroro then says about how an ancient general said "Even on the battlefield, never forget elegance.". Giroro scoffs at this, to which Keroro threatingly says that Giroro shouldn't participate if he doesn't want to, to which Giroro claims that he came here as a chaperone for him.
Everyone admires the tree for a while, and then Paul starts the music for the party. We cut to the spot where the tree was originally on, to which a mysterious bright light shines on the giant hole where the tree's roots were originally on. We cut back to the party and see a glowing petal from the tree slowly fall down as Keroro and Tamama dance on the stage together below the tree. The petal lands on Keroro, and the two continue to dance until Keroro suddenly drops his musical instruments and becomes all sparkly-eyed. Tamama also suddenly stops, and looks to stare at Keroro, to which he does the same.
Keroro repeats Tamama's name, and vice verca, in a romantic manner. They then hold hands and stare into eachothers eyes. Momoka and Paul are delighted as this means the legend of the tree was true. Natsumi is confused and asks about why the music suddenly stopped. Mois and Giroro run onto the stage to stop the two, in-which Mois and Giroro also become bound together in a similar manner. Momoka then orders Paul to rush everyone off the stage. Nishizawa Group's special force rush onto the stage and grab Mois, Giroro, Keroro and Tamama who had continued holding hands and repeating eachother's names. However, the effect of the tree goes onto the special force themselves and they become bound to eachother too. Natsumi thinks that everyone is just taking too long to set the next song, to which Fuyuki thinks that something isn't right. Natsumi hilariously responds by asking him if anything is right when Keroro is around.
Paul then suddenly announces that Fuyuki and Momoka will have a duet of the song An Invader In My Own Way on the stage, so that they can be bound together, too. Natsumi angrily responds by saying that it was her turn, and says its not fair. Fuyuki says he didn't hear of this. Momoka says that since its already been set up, that they should sing together, anyway. Momoka fantasizes about her and Fuyuki being bound together for a bit. Fuyuki then falls in love, Momoka then holds his hand romantically.. untill giant tree roots come from the sky.
The special force start shooting at the tree roots, until the cherry blossom tree starts crying. Kururu reveals that these roots are likely the tree's parents that have come to take back their child, and Momoka starts to feel empathy so she tells the special force to let the roots take their child back. The tree returns to space where it belongs, which ends up causing the tree's effect to wear off, too. Momoka yells in anger about this, and the episode ends with Momoka suffering. (and the KeroTama shippers suffering, too.)
