The Toy Shop Owner, also known as Mokuba (木馬) is a character in the Keroro Gunso Franchise.
Story[]
The Toy Store Owner used to have a very popular toy store, one that Fuyuki Hinata and Natsumi Hinata would visit when they were younger, with their father.
However, over time, the Toy Store Owner barely got any costumers in recent years and often spent time reading newspapers. Keroro visited the store, after wondering what to do with his paycheck, and upon finding a rare Gundam model, decided to get Fuyuki to visit the next day. The Toy Shop Owner of the store recognized Fuyuki, stating he never forgot a costumer's face. He told both Fuyuki and Mutsumi Saburo, who bought the Gundam model Keroro wanted, was going out of business. Keroro tried desperately to keep the Toy Stor Owner in business, even revealing he was an alien to the man, but the Toy Store Owner stated that he and his wife would retire, and that he appreciated all the concern.
In episode 296 he is shown once again, having sent a new years card to Keroro, implying the two of them kept in touch.
Etymology[]
Mokuba (木馬) is Japanese for Rocking Horse, which is the symbol of Mokuba's store.

- The Toy Store Owner is one of the only characters to know of Keroro's existence.
- He makes a cameo as one of the background characters for Keroro Gunso: Showdown! Gekisō Keronprix Big Plan de arimasu!.
