Keroro Wiki
For the original Viper, see Viper (character).

The race of the Viper (ヴァイパー Vaipā) is considered the ultimate enemy of Keronians. Each member of the family is distinguished by his relationship with the original Viper that first appeared in the series. They can live for centuries.

All Vipers are voiced by Nobuo Tobita, Mikel Gandiá in Spain, Chris Patton in Funimation Dub and Domanic Chan in Hong Kong.

General Physics[]

Viper Colors

Vipers are white-skinned human-like beings wearing red suits with a yellow belt and with a cannon in his right hand, His face resembles that of a normal cobra with dark blue skin and amber eyes and with a V on his head and back, although some plain vipers have an I instead of a V. (As for the color of their faces, it can vary, as they can be black and brown and some Female Vipers can be red), As for size, they are a little taller than the Keronians (but in the manga they are the size of a normal Pekoponian).

Personality[]

Although Vipers have distinctive personalities and tastes among themselves and are not all evil, as a race the vipers tend to be space robbers and conquerors who only want their own benefit and to enslave other planets (as seen during the Warrior Keroro series).

Growth[]

In the anime it is shown that vipers usually live in inside caves (on what appears to be their planet) where they capture their prey or hold events such as weddings.

Child Viper

Child viper[]

It is the younger version of a Viper, apart from the height difference being smaller than an adult Viper, here it does not have any cannon in either of its hands.

Young Viper[]

Two Young Vipers (Male and Famele)

When a viper is young, they have a Y-shaped pattern on their head and back and can even put a cannon in one of his hands. They may also have hair at this stage, although they apparently lose it over time, The change between a young viper and an adult one is not at all noticeable, just changing the Y for a V or I.

Normal Viper[]

When a young viper grows into an adult, it normally does not have any physical changes (except for the aforementioned), although it seems that distinctive features can be added, as an example, Viper (friend of the boyfriend of younger sister) although it doesn't seem normal,

If a viper has an older brother, that older brother will have a cigar in his mouth.

If a Viper dies at this stage, a huge explosion will occur, although it could be rebuilt as a Cyborg like Mecha-Viper.

Grandpa Viper

Old Viper[]

At this stage, the vipers regain some hair and has the Y again, but due to their age, their skin is lighter and they have more wrinkles.

Skills[]

Viper Screaming

Viper Screaming

If we take into account the original Viper in Episode 13, most of the abilities of a Viper are:

  • Resist cannonballs (the first times).
  • Shoot laser bullets from its cannon.
  • have a reactor in their head that allows them to fly.
  • emit a screech that paralyzes anyone who hears it.

Although his most characteristic ability is being able to disguise himself as any Pekopenian, Keronian or Alien to do his evil deeds, which range from playing pranks, get treasures or kidnapping someone.

Keronians[]

For centuries, the Vipers and the Keronians have been feuding, waging multiple wars against each other (the origins of this feud are unknown). The Keronians, (including the Keroro Platoon), have almost always emerged victorious in these battles, increasing the Vipers' resentment and forcing the Vipers' next kin to avenge their kin's downfall.

Despite this, there have been vipers who have become attached to some Keronians and vice versa, such as:
